A lot of the leadership of the congregation is comfortable with tasks, details, rules, traditions, holding to the ethos of their denominational family, and retaining the culture of the congregation because it is intertwined with their understanding of the Christ presence in their congregation. The congregation is made up of a lot of older people who have been on a Christ-centric, faith journey for many years, and they have been members of this congregation for a long time. The congregation has several years to respond to the challenge of change and transition.
