The preceding exercise uses the story-telling form as a way in which some personal fears can be shared and an awareness of shared history can be built.
The next exercise, a guided meditation on a Bible story, uses the story-telling mode as a vehicle to help us move to our communal or shared story.
If you have done story-telling in groups of three, have each group join two or three others so you have groups of nine to twelve for the biblical reflection. Various methods can be used provided that the method does not allow for cross-talk or argument about the meaning of the story. You might just hear a relevant Bible story told by a very good storyteller.
