Part 2 — Your congregation's volunteer allotment
Using the formula for figuring volunteerism in the background section, calculate the volunteer hours available to your congregation. Compare these hours to how they are distributed. How many are given to worship? How many to ministry outside the walls of the congregation? How many to Christian education and leadership development? How many to administration and fiscal matters? How do these hours line up with your congregation's expressed mission statement? Record your findings and be prepared to share.

Additional option: Write a narrative of how your congregation spends its volunteer hours.
